Message in a Bottle: Alexandra Ferguson's Recycled Pillows

The second I bust out of my teeny-tiny bedroom I'm going to sprinkle my boudoir with Etsy designer Alexandra Ferguson's sassy, stylish & sustainable pillows. Can you believe these are made from recycled water bottles? I love the simple "Smile" one, but I probably need the "Go to the Gym" one the most.

Wedding Gift Idea: Marriage Takes Work Necklace

Here's a cute (and affordable - only $20!) little gift idea from Etsy's Recycled Rings: the Marriage Takes Work necklace, which features a ladder, wrench, and wedding ring charm. Tongue in cheek, but very sweet (and true!).

Dan Hillier Drawings

New discovery from Spitalfields Market last weekend: Dan Hillier's macabre, nature-meets-Alice-in-Wonderland ink drawings. On my shopping list for when I get hold of a bedroom worth decorating, but until then I'm eyeing the moleskin journals and tote bags.

Fun with Corsages

Etsy designer Charm School Design posted these so-clever-it-hurts photos from a crazy corsage-themed party. Aren't they cool? I wish I were this crafty/creative.

Chim-Chim-Charoo: Mary Poppins Magnets

These mini Elloh magnets would make a terrific little gift for an old-school Disney freak like me (hint, hint). Who doesn't adore Mary Poppins...not to mention Jane and Michael...BANKS.

Grace Jones Rocks

One word: FUH-IERCE

Change of a Dress

How dreamy is this Robins Egg dress from Etsy designer Sarah Seven? I'm in love with the wispy layers of pistachio silk, not to mention the vintage styling. I just might have to snag this for my friend's wedding in June.

Sketch Artist: Samantha Hahn's Illustrations

Man, I am totally loving the illustrated finds on Etsy. Check out Brooklyn-based illustrator Samantha Hahn's hand-drawn giclee prints, which are perfect for a perfume enthusiast (how cute would these be in an ultra-girly bathroom, or hanging over your vanity?). I also love her simple but sweet "I Love You" print...dig that feather pattern font!

Me Want: Sophomore NYC's Spring 09 Collection

I love, love, LOVE Chrissie Miller's soft spring Arizona-esque hues - peach sorbet, a minty blue - for Sophomore NYC's Spring 09 collection. Now if I can just get them to deliver to London...

Girl, Uninterrupted: Kelly Smith's Fashion Illustrations

Yesterday I showed you digital prints of Chloe Sevigny & co. Today, even more lovely "it girl" illustrations have landed on my radar, courtesy of Etsy (of course) boutique KJS Design. Australian illustrator Kelly Smith's work is, in a word, dreamy, taking inspiration from high-end fashion spreads. There's Mary-Kate Olsen looking coy, Erin Wasson in backless Balmain, and other assorted nymphs modeling designer frocks. It's all just so...pretty.

You can learn more about Smith at her professional site, Birdy & Me.

Girls, Girls, Girls: August Lovers' Tributes to Chloe Sevigny, Leigh Lezark & Zippora Seven

After meeting Chloe Sevigny at London Fashion Week (twice!), I've developed a wee girl crush. So, apparently, has August Lovers, whose Etsy shop features digital illustrations not just of Chloe, but also Misshapes mistress Leigh Lezark and model Zippora Seven. Enjoy...

Sleep On It

Product of Your Environment Eight Hours of Fame Pillowcase: Perfect for narcoleptic couch potatoes.

Urban Outfitters Blondie Pillowcase Set: Because I've got a bit of a Debbie Harry fixation.

Urban Outfitters Good Nite Set: I bought these for my brother for Christmas, paired with a new black duvet. Let's face it - most men's bedding is awful.

Branch Handmade Vintage Pocket Watch Set: Another fab Etsy find. They also do feathers, xo, motorcycles, and fishing boat prints.

Happy Groundhog Day

Yes, the little twerp saw his shadow and predicted 6 more weeks of winter.

Yes, he's still pretty darn cute.

As are the MisNopalesArt tote and tee and Spread the Love card I found on Etsy. Aren't they the perfect complements to a little Ned Ryerson action?

Love Will Tear Us Apart Again

Here's one for you single ladies: Single Minded Women's Anti-Valentine's Day Gift Guide. Bitter conversation hearts, "Love Stinks" pjs, faux boyfriends...it's everything a flying solo gal needs on this harsh holiday.

Shoes, Glorious Shoes

These vibrant, totally impractical heels from Dior's Paris couture show remind me of seahorses and music notes. So pretty, so, so dangerous.

Dallas in Wonderland: Dallas Shaw Vintage Mix Tape Print

As a born-and-bred Dallas girl, I was naturally intrigued by artist and design blogger Dallas Shaw's name. Aftet ogling her fabulous prints on Etsy, my interest is even more piqued. I love this High Fidelity-esque Vintage Mix Tape print - so granny meets grunge. I'd expect nothing less from a gal named for Big D.

Wall Flowers: Gallery Hidden Posters

Who couldn't use a fierce femme on their wall? Gallery Hidden sells these rad prints on Etsy for - hold on to your horses - $25 a pop. So much hotter than dogs playing poker.

Just Being Honest

Love this card from Maybe You Should Die on Etsy.com.

Wishful Thinking: Kick Pleat's 70% Off Sale

One of my favorite Austin boutiques, the forward-thinking Kick Pleat, is knocking up to 70% off select items. Naturally, I had to investigate. Rent's due this week, but here's what I'd buy if I could.

Rachel Comey's Traipse Blouse: This funky optical print would look terrific paired with a black pencil skirt. And hello, it's $90, down from $298.

Hache Strapless Bow Front Dress: Just a sweet, simple dress with comfy pockets. You could have a lot of fun accessorizing this baby. $166, down from $551.

Hache Pony Hair Bag: Marigold has been deemed the "it" color of 2009, and this tote offers up the perfect morsel of the cheery hue. $195, down from $650.

Les Prairies de Paris Les Klax Lizard Flats: I have been lusting after these divine wear-everywhere flats for ages, and now that they're 50% off, I may just have to seal the deal. $204, down from $408.

Bell de Jour: Bobbins Bicycles Bike Bells

I don't have a bike (primarily because I'm certain I would get killed within hopping onto that banana seat), but if I did I'd most definitely be jingling away with these adorable little bike bells from Bobbins Bicycles (say that five times fast). The ladybug is supercute, but the fashionphile in me yearns for the black bell with the gold overlay.

Je Voudrais...

1) To have an apartment so mind-blowingly awesome that Todd Selby would beg to photograph it.

2) To have a print of one (or 400) of my favorite Selby photographs.

3) To have someone buy me a custom Selby watercolor for $275. Any takers?

That is all.

Blue Jean Baby Queen

I'm slightly obsessed with Street Style blogs, and TurnedOut.tv is helping to feed the flames of my desire. Maya snapped this girl dressed so perfectly simple-chic in a fitted blazer, white boatneck tee, and Baby Houseman-style denim rolled-up shorts. The textured bag and nude heels are also divine. Note to self: Must try harder!

Tank Girl: Chip Chop!'s Le Telephone Tank

After reading about Chip Chop!'s totes today on Refinery 29, I had to check out the goods for myself. And - surprise, surprise - it's not just clever little totes that Australian designer Hannah Chipkin does so well. I love this cheeky, retro-looking tank. So much better than a diamond, methinks.
