I've had a fixation for school/office supplies ever since my days at Cain Elementary, where you could stock up on adorable little pencil rests and erasers at the school store (yes, just like in "Saved by the Bell"). Now I have a new resource for desk candy: Present & Correct. One of my favorite Brit e-commerce sites, this fanciful online boutique stocks everything from '60-era rubber band book belts and vintage telephone indexes to engraved pencils and fun typographical calendars like this quirky, nonsensical Noa Bembibre Cats Calendar. Also: chalk sets, letterpress journals, and - hello! - patterned tape. It all makes me long for a squatty little desk to squeeze into.
